Local Businesses, UTSA Student-athletes to Connect on NIL Operations Software

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Runners Rising Project (R2P), a not-for-profit (501c(3) status pending) helping UTSA student-athletes capitalize on their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), today announced its partnership with Basepath to connect UTSA student-athletes with businesses for NIL deals.

"This is the next step in the evolution of what Runners Rising hopes to provide to UTSA’s student athletes--a functional marketplace to foster engagement between athletes, sponsors, and San Antonio’s business community,” said R2P Executive Director Eddie Benningfield. Basepath streamlines payments and compliance, allowing for UTSA student-athletes and San Antonio businesses to seamlessly connect for NIL deals.”
