Former College of Charleston Basketball Standout Dalton Bolon Joins Charleston Edge Collective as Director of Sales
Charleston, SC – The Charleston Edge Collective is thrilled to announce that Dalton Bolon, former star of the College of Charleston Men's Basketball team, has officially joined the team as Director of Sales. In this role, Bolon will spearhead corporate fundraising initiatives for the Collective and work directly with student-athletes, bringing his firsthand experience and relationships to help drive CofC’s NIL efforts forward.
As the first student-athlete at the College of Charleston to secure an NIL deal, Bolon brings invaluable insights and expertise to CEC’s mission of empowering student-athletes. His unique understanding of NIL opportunities, along with his proven record on and off the court, will be instrumental in building sustainable NIL partnerships and supporting CofC’s growing reputation in collegiate athletics.

During his tenure at the College of Charleston, Bolon made significant contributions to the men's basketball program. In the 2022-23 season, he earned First Team All-Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) honors and was a finalist for the Lou Henson Award, recognizing the nation's top mid-major player. Bolon was also named a First Team Academic All-American, highlighting his excellence both on the court and in the classroom.
A 2023 graduate of the College of Charleston, Dalton has a deep understanding of the CofC community, our values, and goals. His background as a former player and his commitment to helping student-athletes succeed position him as a trusted advisor who can inspire and guide CofC's current and future players.
In his role as Director of Sales, Dalton will focus on corporate fundraising, forging strong partnerships with local and national businesses that want to support CofC’s athletic community and engage in impactful NIL collaborations. His efforts will be crucial in building a sustainable future for the Charleston Edge Collective, with a commitment to serving student-athletes and strengthening the connection between CofC athletics and the business community.
