“Tiger Tracks” Ice Cream joins “Pizza with the Mizzou Crew” in the Freezer Aisle

ST. LOUIS, January 31, 2024 - Schnuck Markets Inc. and Every True Tiger Brands (ETTB) today announced their second product under their exclusive partnership, with the new “Tiger Tracks” ice cream, which will start hitting stores this week.  Exclusive to Schnucks in its home markets, this first-of-its-kind program features Mizzou student athletes from various sports on a variety of products, through new Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) rules, where college athletes can be compensated.

The unique “Tiger Tracks” ice cream features “Golden” vanilla ice cream with cookies and cream and a vanilla swirl, for a unique frozen treat in the school’s Black and Gold colors.  The ice cream will feature student athletes from 4 different sports:

·       Noah Carter, Men’s Basketball

·       Euphenie Andre, Women’s Track

·       Keegan O’Toole, Wrestling

·       Jordan Iliff, Women’s Volleyball

“There’s a saying in sports that an athlete has ice-water in his veins if he feels no pressure”, said Mizzou Wrestling Coach Brian Smith.  “Keegan is definitely in that category, as a 2-time NCAA Champion, and now a 2- time World Champion.  So, I guess it’s pretty fitting he’d be on a product in the freezer case!  Very excited for this unique way of using NIL to feature our top Tiger athletes!”

Every True Tiger Brands CEO, Nick Garner is excited to expand the program with Schnucks.

“Tiger Tracks” ice cream will be available in all Missouri Schnucks locations as well as metropolitan St. Louis stores in Illinois.  Haystack Sourcing Solutions is developing the products in conjunction with Every True Tiger Brands and Schnucks.

Schnucks Category Manager Scott Wilmoth said, “In addition to picking up Pizza With the Mizzou Crew while shopping at Schnucks, Tiger fans can now also find the great-tasting Tiger Tracks ice cream, also featuring some of their favorite Mizzou athletes, in our freezer cases.”

Mizzou Volleyball Coach Dawn Sullivan said, “Jordan is such a great representative for our Program. She made great strides this year in earning All-SEC status.  As a St. Louis native, how special for her to be featured on an ice cream at her Hometown store Schnucks...such a unique way to use her NIL!”

Over the upcoming months, the program will continue to grow with candies, cookies and more, with all products featuring Mizzou student athletes.
