Gators Win! Florida Victorious Hits “$2 Million Match Challenge” Goal

Gainesville, FL – (June 1, 2023) – Florida Victorious has earned a big win in its march to become one of the nation’s leading NIL groups. Thanks to the competitive spirit of Gator fans, the goal of the “$2 Million Match Challenge” was met through new pledges and subscriptions to Florida Victorious, resulting in a total $4 million-dollar fundraising campaign by the NIL organization.

“Florida Victorious and Gator fans are united in our desire to win, and the ‘Match Challenge’ results clearly show we are upping our NIL efforts to support Florida student-athletes,” said Nate Barbera, CEO of Florida Victorious. “As the NIL environment evolves, Florida Victorious is focused on staying ahead of the pack and is excited about new member offerings we plan to roll out over the next several months.”

In addition to one-time contributions, the ‘Match Challenge’ invited Gator fans to sign up for a variety of membership options, including The 96 Club (priced at $96 per month), a tribute to the 1996 National Championship football team. The membership tier includes benefits like a polo and hat designed by Batesy, Gator Great linebacker James Bates, and an exclusive annual event at Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille with the Head Ball Coach and players from the 1996 team.  More than 90% of membership revenues will go to Florida Victorious student-athletes.
