Friends of the Heights Appoints BC Alum Danielle Molinaro to Board of Directors

(BOSTON) Feb. 16, 2023 – Friends of the Heights, the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) collective serving Boston College student-athletes, is excited to announce the appointment of Danielle Molinaro ‘10 to its Board of Directors.

Molinaro currently serves as Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at Excel Sports Management, one of the premier sports agencies in the world. With over ten years of experience as a sports and entertainment attorney, Molinaro has successfully negotiated and executed “off the field” endorsement, marketing, and content deals for some of the biggest names in sports.

“We are thrilled to have Danielle Molinaro join our Board of Directors,” said Friends of the Heights President, Joe Popolo. “Danielle’s vast experience in sports business, as well as her legal acumen, will help place our student-athletes in wonderful positions as they navigate their own athletic experiences. Simply put, Friends of the Heights has reached a new level of service to the students with Danielle’s appointment.”

Molinaro worked extensively in the athletic realm during her undergraduate years at Boston College. For four years, she performed multiple roles for its Athletic Development Office that included managing endowed scholarship reports and planning major donor events.

“I am incredibly honored to join the Board of Directors of Friends of the Heights,” said Molinaro. “It is a fantastic opportunity to combine my love for Boston College with my expertise in the sports industry. I am dedicated to supporting the continued success of BC student-athletes and am eager to contribute to advancing the efforts of Friends of the Heights.”

After graduating from the Heights in 2010, the New Canaan, CT, native earned her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 2013.
