UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (Mar. 7, 2024) – Happy Valley United, the NIL collective supporting all 31 teams and over 800 Penn State student-athletes, is proud to announce that it will be hosting its first annual Golf Tournament and Reception, presented by the Hoover Family and West Shore Home.

The tournament will be held at the West Shore Country Club on April 29. It will start at 12 PM, and will be followed by a reception from 5:30 – 7 PM that will feature members of the 2024 Penn State football team, the coaching staff and lettermen, all of whom will be available to connect with fans and supporters in attendance. Happy Valley United’s Golf Tournament and Reception packages include sponsor recognition and signage, teams in the golf tournament as well as reception tickets, food and drink options.

The tournament reached over half capacity in the early registration period. Now, just a few openings remain. All proceeds from sponsor packages and reception tickets directly benefit Penn State football student-athletes' NIL through Happy Valley United.

Fans and businesses interested in the tournament and reception can register on Happy Valley United's event page:

Nine businesses throughout Pennsylvania registered as sponsors for the tournament, highlighting the commitment to supporting NIL opportunities for the Nittany Lions in and around University Park. These organizations, combined with Happy Valley United’s corporate partners, signal buy-in from businesses across the Keystone state and beyond to foster more NIL opportunities for PSU student-athletes.

Products from Yerbaé, New Trail Brewing Co., Boyd & Blair and Rich Mar Flourist, four of Happy Valley United’s current corporate partners, will also be present at the Golf Tournament and Reception. Attendees can sip on Happy Valley Blue Razz, State Light, and cocktails made with Happy Valley Vodka throughout the afternoon and evening events.

“Our team worked incredibly hard to put this tournament together and I’m glad to see their persistence paid off,” Jen Ferrang, General Manager of Development and Corporate Partnerships for Happy Valley United, said. “Fans and businesses from all over the state jumped on the opportunity to support our football team and enjoy an afternoon on the green.”
