Heisman Candidate Dorian Thompson-Robinson Partners with 90’s icon, Crash Bandicoot
UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson (also known as “DTR”) completed a name, image and likeness (NIL) deal with the world’s leading video game company Activision to promote the launch of the infamous bandicoot’s official TikTok, who recently launched their hit Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, on Steam.
Dorian, a massive fan of the Crash Bandicoot series and avid player at home, worked with the Activision team for a professional video shoot in Los Angeles where he hung out with Crash and both taught each other the ropes of their respective games.

DTR posted the 3-part series on his TikTok to his 645k followers, gaining over 115k views to-date. Six other athletes participated in the deal to promote the game throughout the country, including University of Florida women's soccer player Madison Young, Clemson University women's volleyball player Azyah Dailey, Appalachian State University football player Camerun Peoples, University of Texas football player Justice Finkley and University of Michigan football player Roman Wilson.
Throughout the country, athletes created organic content and posted it on their TikTok accounts and featured creative skits of the athletes playing and interacting with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. The athletes also filmed a duet with DTR’s video as if they were the friend on the other side of his gaming headset and interacted with him while he played the video game.
The campaign was made possible by leading NIL company MOGL who coordinated and produced the video shoot and connected Activision with the athlete influencers.
