Massachusetts Collective Teams Up with Ford of Northampton to Provide Luxury Vehicle to Star Guard Rashool Diggins
Amherst, MA – August 5, 2024 – The Massachusetts Collective is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with longtime UMass Basketball supporter, Ford of Northampton, to provide a luxury vehicle to star guard Rahsool Diggins. Scott Sarat, the Sarat Family, and Ford of Northampton have consistently shown their unwavering support for UMass Athletics and UMass Basketball, and this partnership is a testament to their deep commitment to the team.
"Ford of Northampton has been with us from the beginning, standing as one of the first business members to back the Massachusetts Collective nearly two years ago," said Patrick MacWilliams, Director of The Collective. "This summer, they’ve taken their support to the next level by providing Rahsool Diggins, a standout senior and team leader, with a luxury vehicle. It’s a tremendous gesture that underscores their dedication to our athletes."
“This is huge for me and my family, and we couldn't be more thankful,” said Diggins. “Between school, basketball, and spending time with my daughter and family, it was hectic getting around. To have a safe, reliable vehicle is a huge bonus, in addition to what the Mass Co and its members have provided to me already.”
Diggins, who was named the A10's Most Improved Player last year, is poised to lead the Minutemen on the court in the upcoming season.
