MESA to Host Inter Tribal Youth Basketball Camp
What: MESA FOUNDATION, the organization created to connect San Diego State Athletes with local charities and organizations, will host a youth basketball camp on Saturday, August 10. This event welcomes members of the Inter-Tribal community to come together and learn from San Diego State basketball players. During the camp, youth will work on fundamentals, skill development, encouraging confidence, and teamwork with over 200 campers expected to be in attendance from many of Southern California’s Native American communities.

San Diego State Men’s basketball participants include: Magoon Gwath, Nick Boyd, Wayne McKinney III, Desai Lopez, Pharaoh Compton, Ryan Schwarz, Cam Lawin, BJ Davis, Demarshay Johnson Jr., Reese Waters, Miles Byrd, Kimo Ferrari, Taj DeGourville, Jared Coleman-Jones, and Miles Heide.
San Diego State’s Women’s basketball participants include: Khylee Pepe, Erin Houpt, Ellie Chen, Alyssa Jackson, Veronica Sheffey, Trinity Zamora, Mia Davis, Jazlen Green, Kaelyn Hamilton, Meghan Fiso, Bailey Barnhard, Natalia Martinez, Natalija Grizelj, Kim Villalobos, Naomi Panganiban, Adryana Quezada, and Cali Clark.
