Former Notre Dame Quarterback’s Startup MOGL Partners with Scout Funding Platform Peakz

MOGL PEAKZ

(MARCH 2022) -- MOGL, the first fully compliant online marketplace to connect businesses and brands with collegiate athletes for opportunities to monetize their name, image and likeness (NIL) has strategically entered an exclusive formal partnership with Peakz, the athlete-only content monetization platform.

Peakz helps athletes create elite content to optimize their NIL financially, providing a myriad of exclusive resources and mentorship to athletes on brand management. Through the new partnership starting in March 2022, Netherlands-based Peakz will exclusively partner with MOGL for their unique Ambassador campaigns.

“We are excited to work with MOGL and the amazing college athletes they host on their platform,” said Peakz Co-Founder and CEO Michiel Wolters. “We believe that together we can make history and create some national ‘firsts’ as Peakz continues on our mission to get athletes funded.”

In January 2022, Peakz launched an Ambassador program on MOGL for collegiate athletes as part of the launch of the platform in the United States. Peakz Ambassadors, as the early adopters have been offered a wide range of exclusive resources to make their channel successful and highly profitable and are thereby in turn building awareness for the platform.

“Peakz has recognized that MOGL’s relationship with, access to and approach with athletes is differentiated in the NIL landscape and has elected to solely source collegiate talent on MOGL,” said MOGL Co-Founder and Chief Athletic Officer Brandon Wimbush. “MOGL is committed to helping athletes build their brands and Peakz shares our mission, ensuring athletes get paid first.”

Now, all athletes interested in becoming a Peakz ambassador must apply for the opportunity through the MOGL platform.

“Through Peakz and MOGL, college athletes have the ability to generate a steady income,” said Peakz Co-Founder and CCO Santhie Krishnasing. “On both platforms, we benefit when they benefit.”

Peakz is currently working with eight MOGL athletes as ambassadors and plans to work with many more throughout the partnership. The Peakz opportunity will be available for athletes on the MOGL website as a job listing.

“All talent deserves a chance to go pro, so those who lack funds to do so, can now get paid for being a content pro,” said Peakz Co-Founder and Investor Theo Hoeksema. “With Peakz you can monetize your videos, podcasts, live streams and group chats with fans.”
