Pack Pledge Campaign Launched to Support Wolfpack Basketball Student-Athletes Through One Pack NIL
Fans can pledge their support by directly supporting the Pack for every steal, assist, or win this season.
Raleigh, NC (December 4, 2024) – One Pack NIL, the NIL Collective for NC State student-athletes, today announced the launch of the Pack Pledge campaign, an exciting new way for Wolfpack fans to show their support for NC State men’s and women’s basketball student-athletes. The initiative allows fans to pledge financial contributions to One Pack NIL for every win, assist, and steal made by the men’s and women’s teams throughout the season.
The Pack Pledge allows Wolfpack supporters to directly contribute to NC State Basketball student-athletes' Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities while celebrating the teams’ performances on the court. Whether it’s cheering for a big win, a game-changing assist, or a crucial steal, fans can make a tangible impact on the players' lives by pledging a set amount for each statistical category.
“The Pack Pledge is a way for Wolfpack fans to actively engage with and support our basketball student-athletes in a meaningful way,” said Chris Vurnakes, Executive Director of One Pack NIL. “Our basketball programs have made incredible strides on the court, propelling both our men’s and women’s teams to the Final Four last year. We wanted to build on that and create an impactful partnership between our teams and the fans who make Wolfpack basketball truly special. Every pledge helps ensure that our athletes can continue to thrive both on the court and in their academic and athletic pursuits.”
Fans can sign up for the Pack Pledge HERE and pledge any amount for every win, assist, and steal recorded by either the men’s or women’s basketball teams. For example, fans could pledge $1 per win, $0.50 per assist, and $0.25 per steal. With each milestone achieved during the season, fans will be notified of their contribution and the impact they are making on the student-athletes’ NIL earnings.
The funds raised through the Pack Pledge campaign will go directly to supporting the NC State men’s and women’s basketball players, helping to create more opportunities for them to engage with fans, create content, and receive compensation for their NIL activities.
