Local Tropical Smoothie Café Franchise Partners with Boise State Student-Athletes
BOISE, Idaho – (February 23, 2023): KMP TSC, LLC – the local franchisee of Tropical Smoothie Café in Boise, Idaho and the surrounding area – announced name, image and likeness (NIL) partnerships with Boise State standout student-athletes Taylen Green (football) and Jordan Miller (volleyball). Green and Miller will promote the five area cafes through personalized activations that fit their skill sets and interests, plus grant the franchise the ability to utilize their NIL in promotional materials.
Each student-athlete will earn a commission from sales at Treasure Valley Tropical Smoothie Café locations through June 30. Green’s designated product is a play on his last name, while Miller’s menu item offers a play on words with her sport. Green will be compensated a share of each Island Green smoothie purchased locally and Miller of each Sunrise Sunset smoothie.
“We are thrilled to be teaming up with two of Boise State’s most outstanding athletes,” said franchise owner Michelle Pukash. “Jordan and Taylen will amplify our existing tie to Boise State Athletics and introduce our healthy food and smoothies to their Bronco following.”
Green will make a public appearance at a local Tropical Smoothie Café location, while also promoting the cafes from his Instagram account. Additional details about Green’s public appearance will be shared in the near future.
“I am very excited to partner with a company whose product I use and believe in,” Green said. “Some of my favorite post-workout recovery meals and snacks are the smoothies and food at Tropical Smoothie Café. This will be a fun and authentic partnership.”
The franchise will leverage Miller’s sizeable and engaged social media following and knack for delivering compelling content. She will not only promote the cafes on her personal channels but will also create content for the franchise’s Instagram account, @tscidaho.
“I am a huge fan of Tropical Smoothie Café,” Miller said. “I am grateful that the franchise sees value in me as an ambassador and as a content creator. This is a unique opportunity that allows me to not only promote a business I am genuinely passionate about, but also provides hands-on experience helping a brand with their marketing, which is something I want to do more of in the future.”

This NIL opportunity is a complement to the current sponsorship agreement KMP TSC, LLC has via LEARFIELD’s Bronco Sports Properties, Boise State Athletics’ longtime multimedia rightsholder. Boise State’s nationally-recognized NIL program also helped facilitate the relationship.
