Urban Outfitters Teams Up with Student Athletes for Back to School
(September 2022) Urban Outfitters is thrilled to announce it has teamed up with Postgame – a NIL agency connecting brands with its network of 60,000 college athlete influencers – for a multifaceted campaign featuring 29 Division1 student athletes across multiple disciplines during the 2022 Back-to-School season. The roster of emerging talent will include some of the most recognized college athlete influencers in the game today including: Cameron Brink (Stanford University Women’s Basketball), Kelee Ringo (University of Georgia Football), AJ Henning (University of Michigan Football), and Margzetta Frazier (UCLA Gymnastics).
In collaboration with Postgame, Urban Outfitters will work with the participating athletes to showcase how they “Make their Mark” in all aspects of student/athlete life, whether it be on the field or on campus. The campaign will include a variety of social media posts by each athlete over a number of weeks wearing UO apparel and showcasing UO Home’s dorm décor assortment. UO’s diverse community can follow along on social media as the athletes share their favorite products and how they fit into their daily routines.
In addition to social media endorsements, athletes will have the opportunity to connect with the UO community through special in-store appearances at select campuses with UO retail locations. On September 29th, University of Texas Linebacker DeMarvion Overshown will stop by UO Austin for UO’s College Night programming.
