Brew with the Crew” Coffees are latest Mizzou-themed products to hit Schnucks stores

COLUMBIA, October 18, 2024 - Every True Tiger Brands (ETTB) today announced a new line of six unique coffees, the latest in its popular line of retail products featuring top Mizzou student athletes.  Exclusive to Schnucks in its home markets, this first-of-its-kind program features Mizzou student athletes from various sports on a variety of products, all sold at Schnucks stores.

The coffee line, developed in conjunction with local Missouri coffee roaster, Ronnoco, includes a number of unique features:

  • The 6 coffees spell out “M-I-Z-Z-O-U” on the shelf, each coffee featuring one of the letters.

  • Each student athlete has earned academic honors at Mizzou, along with their athletic feats.

  • The 3 different roasts and 3 flavored coffees all feature 100% arabica beans.

  • One flavor is patterned after ETTB’s popular “Tiger Tracks” ice cream, which is still in stores.

The coffee varieties and athletes featured on each:

  • Light Roast, featuring Kennedy Griffin, Gymnastics

  • Medium Roast, featuring Kristian Williams, Football

  • Dark Roast, featuring Maya Sands, Volleyball

  • Gooey Butter Cake, featuring Noah Surtin, Wrestling

  • “Triple Crown” (Cinnamon/Vanilla/ Hazelnut), featuring Kayley Lenger, Softball

  • “Tiger Tracks” (Cookies & Crème/ Vanilla), featuring Tamar Bates, Men’s Basketball

Schnucks Category Manager Jason Reid said, “Schnucks is proud to continue supporting this unique line of products, by partnering with Mizzou and ETTB...These products are a great way for Tiger fans to support Mizzou Athletics, while also enjoying delicious coffee from Ronnoco – a Missouri based business.”

"This is such a cool concept," said All-SEC Libero Maya Sands, a junior member of the Mizzou Volleyball team. "Being one of the six student-athletes selected to be on the packaging is really an honor. It might be a little crazy walking into a Schnucks store and seeing myself on the shelf, but I'm looking forward to it."

"To think I'd be featured on a product in a grocery store, that's kind of wild," added Kristian Williams, defensive tackle on the 16th-ranked Mizzou football team. "NIL has really opened doors for college athletes, and I love embracing being a part of a great community that supports us. It's a privilege to be able to represent Schnucks and Mizzou."

The coffees join two recent ETTB additions to the line, that are just hitting Schnucks stores as well:

  • Mizzou Munchy Medley Candy Mix, featuring Mizzou Football’s Offensive Lineman Cayden Green and Tight End Brett Norfleet

  • “Pizza with the Mizzou Crew”...The latest rendition (Cheese Pizza) features Tiger Defensive Backs Marvin Berks, Toriano Pride and Jamarion Wayne...all St. Louis natives.

These coffees join “Tiger Tracks” ice cream and the two Commemorative cookies (celebrating 2023 season). All items feature a variety of Mizzou athletes, being sold at Schnucks stores across Missouri.  In total, Schnucks, in conjunction with Every True Tiger Brands, Haystack Sourcing Solutions and partner suppliers have created 20 different retail items, featuring 35 Mizzou student-athletes across nine different Tiger sports teams.
