NIL Marketplace, MOGL, and Catholic Prayer & Meditation app, Hallow, Launch Campaign with College Athletes

AUGUST 2022 - MOGL, the first fully compliant online marketplace to connect businesses with collegiate athletes for opportunities to monetize their name, image and likeness (NIL) launched a partnership with Hallow - the #1 Catholic Prayer & Meditation app in the world. The partnership provided MOGL athletes the opportunity to record meditations and prayers that will be accessible through the Hallow app starting on Monday, August 22.

Hallow offers meditation and prayer sessions, Bible readings, and more. The app was founded by Notre Dame Alumni Alex Jones, Alessandro DiSanto, and Erich Kerekes. Similarly, MOGL was also founded by Notre Dame Alumni - Ayden Syal, Chief Executive Officer and Brandon Wimbush, Chief Athletic Officer and former Notre Dame Quarterback.

“I am excited to partner with and lead a meditation on the Hallow app,” said Wimbush. “As a Christian and former Notre Dame Quarterback, I know the importance of meditation and prayer leading up to and following a game.”

He continued, “even now, I use the Hallow app for its inspiring spiritual meditation.”

Wimbush will have his own meditation launched on Hallow through the partnership that you can listen to on the app here.

The Hallow app includes meditations and prayers from some of the greatest Christian athletes and inspirations in the world including: Brett Favre (3-time NFL MVP), Brady Quinn (Star Notre Dame Quarterback), Grace McCallum (Olympic Gymnast), Darien Rencher (Former Clemson Running Back and Activist) and Legendary College Football Coach, Lou Holtz.

“We are proud to partner with MOGL and give Chrisitan athletes the opportunity to share in their meditation and prayer,” said Hallow CEO Alex Jones. “Elite athletes and individuals that are leading these meditations know the mental and spiritual battle they face on the field, court, and arena, and the only way they can make it through is with immense focus and prayer.”

Jones added, “the meditation and prayers included on the Hallow app help uplift, inspire, and motivate anyone to be the best they can be every single day.”

Hallow recently raised a $40 million Series B round from Drive Capital, Peter Thiel, Teamworthy Ventures, Narya VC, Contrary Capital, Uncork Capital, Susa Ventures and Scott Malpass.

“MOGL athletes now have the chance to share meditation and prayer on a large scale,” said Syal. “The Hallow app provides an incredible community for college athletes while empowering them to make a difference in the NIL space.”
