MOGL NIL Marketplace Launches Athlete Merchandise Stores through Partnership with Vintage Brand
College athletes can now create their own merchandise stores on MOGL.
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (February 2022) - MOGL, the first fully compliant online marketplace to connect businesses and brands with collegiate athletes for opportunities to monetize their name, image and likeness (NIL) is partnering with Seattle-based sports apparel company Vintage Brand. Launching today on the MOGL platform, athletes can now set up their own stores and e-commerce enterprises through the partnership with Vintage Brand.
Vintage Brands Media will be a resource for athletes to develop their own merchandise stores on MOGL. Collegiate athletes on the platform are able to create their own clothing lines through the partnership. With this new service, MOGL athletes’ fans will be able to purchase their custom merchandise to showcase their support. The athletes can use their personal branding to maximize their NIL monetization potential.
MOGL athlete Sam Brunelle has already successfully built her own Vintage Brand store with a variety of products for her fans to purchase including apparel, accessories and drinkware.
“I am incredibly excited for MOGL to partner with Vintage Brands Media, allowing athletes to get paid and build their brand on the platform,” said MOGL Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Ayden Syal. “Vintage Brand’s services truly align with our athlete-driven vision to continue developing as the one-stop-shop for collegiate athletes to promote their name, image, and likeness.”
Both MOGL and Vintage Brand are founded by Notre Dame Alumni. Vintage Brand was founded by Notre Dame Alum Chad Hartvigson in 2017 with a goal to relive sports history and reproduce those special moments on apparel and gear. Now the Vintage Brand platform offers thousands of unique sports tickets, posters and programs reproduced on a variety of products such as clothing, drinkware, art, and accessories.
“Supporting collegiate athletes has always been a key aspect of Vintage Brand’s core mission,” said Vintage Brand Founder and CEO Chad Hartvigson. “Our personally branded merchandise shops, in-house creative support, and expansive product selection in combination with MOGL’s reach in the collegiate athletic community create the perfect synergy.”
The service will soon be available as a button on the athlete’s MOGL profile and is now listed and accessible as a job post.
