REVIVAL FITNESS TEXAS Signs TCU Women Athletes to NIL Deals
Fort Worth-Based Fitness Studio Committed to Student-Athletes Across Collegiate Sports Spectrum
FORT WORTH, TEXAS (February 21, 2023) – REVIVAL FITNESS TEXAS announced today the signing of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) marketing deals with TCU women athletes from the Women’s Rifle Team and Women’s Indoor Volleyball Team. Rifle Team members Stephanie Allan (Greenwich, Connecticut) and Anne White (San Antonio, Texas) and Volleyball player Julia Adams (Plano, Texas) are the newest REVFIT ATHLETES, joining TCU football wide receiver Jordan Hudson (Garland, Texas) who signed with REVFIT in November 2022.
REVIVAL FITNESS (REVFIT) provides a cutting-edge fitness experience for all individual levels with aspirations to build a community of physically and mentally strong members. REVFIT believes these goals of a healthy lifestyle are a perfect match for athletes; sharing that alignment of goals and values, Allan, White and Adams teamed up with REVFIT to power student-athletes forward in building their brands as well as their business experience.
"REVFIT is committed to continuing to provide collegiate athletes across the various sports with the opportunity to build business and brand experience," said Gary D. Simpson, Founder & Chairman of REVFIT. "Stephanie, Anne and Julia are incredibly talented and hardworking athletes who represent the heart of REVFIT’s mind, body and spirit philosophy, and we are very proud to partner with them on building our brands together.”
In its conception and execution, REVFIT is determined to offer a fitness experience that is inspiring to the broader Fort Worth communities. Importantly, REVFIT shares its “big picture” focus on the importance of holistic health and wellness with the TCU Athletics programs.
“The REVFIT mission is inspiring for so many people, including myself,” said Anne White, a REVFIT member since early 2022, sophomore TCU Women’s Rifle Team member, 2022 NCAA Air Rifle All American, and newly named USA National Women’s Smallbore Rifle Team member. “The community that REVFIT has built is something that I am beyond blessed to be a part of, and I look forward to helping it grow just as I grow in my own fitness journey as a college athlete.”
“Since the moment I stepped in the doors of REVFIT, I knew that it was going to change all my perceptions about group fitness. The supportive community and mission of REVFIT provides all members with a place to get stronger both physically and mentally,” said Stephanie Allan, senior TCU Women’s Rifle Team member, 2022 Air Rifle and Aggregate All American, and 2022 NCAA Air Rifle Team National Champion. “Being a part of the REVFIT community as a TCU athlete allows me to grow as a person through the experiences and opportunities available. These opportunities are not only to get stronger but to help me be successful post-graduation in all of my future endeavors. I am so excited to join the REVFIT family and help grow this special community.”
“REVFIT takes a different approach to group fitness. It focuses on the individual growth of each member and that’s exactly what you feel! You are supported and encouraged to become the best version of yourself,” says Julia Adams, senior TCU Women’s Indoor Volleyball player from Plano, TX who has been named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and to multiple All-Tournament Teams including Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge All-Tournament Team. “REVFIT has given me an amazing opportunity to join their family. I am beyond grateful to connect to so many wonderful people and have them by my side as I grow as a college student athlete.”
While the deals include marketing/branding activities across social media and event appearances, the company also provides its “REVFIT Athletes” with the opportunity to co-teach fitness classes as well as participate in corporate activities with its executives in order to gain operations, marketing and business experience. The agreements also encourage the athlete's participation in Neeley School of Business NIL workshops to provide further development opportunities.
“We are excited and proud that REVFIT, along with the various collectives, are stepping up to support our student-athletes with NIL opportunities,” said Jeremiah Donati, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at TCU. “It illustrates the commitment from our donor base to be leaders on the NIL front as TCU advances our leadership in education and athletics across Fort Worth, the growing DFW metroplex and an expanding national presence.
In July 2021, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) changed its policy to allow student-athletes to monetize their name, image, and likeness (NIL) through partnerships with local and national businesses. Through these brand partnerships, athletes can turn their success in their sports into providing supplemental financial resources to assist with the cost of attending college.
