Women in NIL

(Los Angeles, CA) - February 24, 2025 – Greenfly, the leader in powering short-form content operations for sports, media, and other brands, is partnering with AthleteCon’s Sam Green and UCLA’s Maddie Walsh to present "Women in NIL"—an insightful conversation that will explore how female athletes and professionals navigate the evolving landscape of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) in college sports. The free webinar will take place on March 7th at 1PM PST/4PM EST.

The panel will be moderated by Kristi Dosh, well-known NIL expert and founder of Business of College Sports. The speakers represent a wide range of roles within the NIL industry:

●      Michelle Meyer, Founder of NIL Network

●      Rachel Maeng Brown, Founder of GEN Agency and GEN NIL

●      Sam Green, Founder of NIL with Sam Green, AthleteCon, and Queen’s Retreat

●      Maddie Walsh, Assistant Director of NIL for UCLA Athletics

The discussion will cover a wide range of topics related to NIL, including:

  • Each panelist’s unique career path and the day-to-day differences between NIL consulting, representation, and administration

  • A look at the current state of NIL and collegiate athletics

  • Challenges and opportunities that are unique to female athletes and professionals in this space

  • Predictions for what’s coming next and how aspiring aspiring NIL professionals can make the most of the emerging opportunities

"This event is an opportunity for those interested in NIL to hear directly from two expert consultants, an agent, a P4 administrator, and a successful entrepreneur working directly with student-athletes across the country every single day,” said Maddie Walsh. “The fact that it’s also amplifying women in this space is just a huge bonus.”

“As a woman who has been in the NIL space since its inception, I’m excited that this event addresses a real need. Meaningful conversations, impactful networking, and actionable game plans on how to navigate the industry as a woman in sports. I’m proud to be part of this game-changing event, empowering other women to succeed in this space,” said Sam Green.

“As collegiate athletics continues its rapid professionalization, identifying opportunities to maximize revenue potential is crucial to maintaining a competitive edge. Dynamic personal brands are pivotal in driving student-athlete NIL value, enhancing recruiting efforts, and boosting university sponsorship value: says Kelsey Smith, Chief of Staff at Greenfly. “At Greenfly, we’ve witnessed firsthand how female athletes are leading the charge in digital engagement. The top ten users on our platform for 2024 in terms of total assets uploaded were all women, underscoring their unparalleled influence and engagement in the digital space. We’re excited to partner with an event that is helping propel the industry forward."
